Happy Eid to every one… although it is a nightmare to me…
Years ago, I don’t go out on that specific day. From the night before, you can watch those miserable animals tortured by butchers who try to push them and tie them… then in the morning, the poor beasts wait to be slaughtered…..
I hate when you smell blood in the streets and when you see children watching the process of killing…
I hate when I see blood on the floor and people throwing water to wash the streets…
I hate when vendors walk and call people to sell the killed skin and fur…
I hate that day…
You misunderstood me Luciano, the fact is that I am an animal defender and I am a member of an Animal Friends’ organization….
I am not against the day, I am against the process of killing animals in the streets and mistreat them…
I can’t be against God’s will to eat meat.. .but:
1- If I am going to kill an animal to eat, I must treat it well as they do feel, fear and feel terrified, even God in Islam ordered people to kill beasts in a specific way…
2- Blood in the street is not healthy, as it is known that this amount of blood could disseminate diseases…
3- Children watching this processes is not healthy psychologically…
This was my point of you Luciano…
Happy Eid to everyone
I you had to precise your opinion it means that it was not as clear as needed at your first post. Happy that you did this clarification in order to avoid hearting any one feelings.

I think every religious day has its own weird traditions, sometimes disturbing traditions. In Philippines for example, some people want to live the Good Friday just the way Jesus did, so they hang themselves to wood crosses and suffer really bad. So for me, every religion has its good side and its bad side, the key is to admit all traditions and stay tolerant and forgiving. It’s the only way that people belonging to different religions can learn to coexist peacefully.
