I don’t know if you watch Current TV, but I recommend you this ‘reportage’ from the portuguese journalist Mariana Van Zeller about the machismo (macho attitude) in Spain. Unfortunately, the situation is not very different in Portugal…

in Italy it is the same but things are changing and couples of 70’s generation share houseworks and child care. even if it is not 50-50 yet but when I look at older couples I realize that things have already changed a lot

They don’t want to do any work at home? And they even dare to say that in public with pride. Shame on them! I know some similar cases in younger generations, but they are a minority. I’m a lucky girl, because I share all the tasks at home with my husband, a wonderful guy by the way!
