Rethinking politics…

January 11th, 2008 by LM (Beirut, Lebanon) · 2 Comments

When you are just a normal citizen/journalist and you’re trying your best to understand politics, you soon discover that even the old, bald and fat men are actually like children. All they really want is attention, so they start talking and talking for hours and you as a young female start wondering if you didn’t miss an episode or maybe you’re not smart enough to understand what really lies beneath. And you start rethinking politics, strategies, geopolitics and then when you are amost ready to give up, this same fat guy ends up telling you that in fact everything he said during this interview is “politically correct” and none of it really makes sense… But he “has” to appear in the media so that people don’t “forget” him.

Have a nice week-end
