“>2nd Egypt Intl Boat Show

This is the second year that Egypt holds its international Boat Show. By this show, which was inaugurated yesterday by the Egyptian minister of Tourism, Egypt is trying to find its place in the international market for a new type of tourism. 3 Questions to Mr. Hani Mahrous, General Manager of Marketing and Sales of He Sports Magazine, Organizer, with Art Line Company, of this show.

S.M - How many boat and yacht dealers and companies are participating in this show?
H.M. - This year we have 3 halls dedicated in the Cairo Conference Center to host more than 90 international companies for yachts and boats and their accessories. We are hosting international brands like Four Winns, Chris Craft, Malibu, Chaparral Boats, Montery Boats and many others, american, british and german .

S.M. - Did you face any challenges during the organizing of such show?
H.M. - The only problem we faced are the yachts and boats of big size (more than 40 feet). We can only display boats from 18 to 35 feet due to the smaller dimensions of our gates.

S.M. - Do you think Egypt can have a new type of tourism?
H.M. - Absolutely! Sports tourism, which the ministry of tourism is giving it a special attention as an unconventional type of tourism, is increasing in Egypt. Today, sport tourism is more familiar to people especially in Sharm El Sheikh, Red Sea. By organizing this type of shows, we aim not only to create but also to maintain our place in the international boat and yachts market.
