Things I have done today to avoid doing work:
1. Introduced myself for the first time to the downstairs-flat neighbour, in an attempt to find out why the hell the water was turned off and our shower refused to shower anything but a useless dribble of cold water;
2. Made myself not one but three cups of lapsang souchong tea in the space of an hour. For this I used tealeaves in a special little infuser that I didn’t even know we had in the cupboard, and which I have never, ever used before in my life;
3. In a spirit of celebration that the water was back on and the pressure fixed, cleaned the dried spit and toothpaste off the inside of the toothbrush mug, and from there, cleaned the entire bathroom;
4. A load of washing, documenting the ridiculous effect of the washing machine on the whole flat, manifest most dramatically in the shelf of glasses;
5. Stabbed beautiful but thick-stemmed Algerian earrings through my earlobes, causing considerable pain and discomfort;
6. Inexplicably put on mascara at approximately 12:15pm;
7. Prepared a depressingly trashy yet surprisingly satisfying lunch;
8. Not the washing-up;
9. This list.

Mon inventaire dans les airs.
J’ai embarqué à midi dans un avion République Française, direction Rabat au Maroc. Un drôle de garçon à l’aéroport pensait qu’on voyageait tous ensemble, qu’on faisait d’abord une étape à Kuala Lumpur pour revenir au Maroc. Un drôle d’oiseau….
Mais revenons à l’inventaire des airs.
En apéro, champagne et Michoco la pie qui chante pour le décollage. Ensuite, salade fraiche de foie gras et Haricots verts avec quelques tomates confites, cèpes et raisons secs.Gigot d’agneau au foie gras, mijoté dans une sauce au vin, légumes rôties, belle asssiette de fromages affinés, tarte au citron du très côté Pierre Hermé, chocolat de la maison du chocolat pour accompagner café et digestif……Tout ça à 10000 metres d’altitude, et une fois sur terre, retour en douceur avec un délicieusement exotique Thé à la menthe….hihihihihihihihihi

je le savais toujours… mechante! c’est surtout la brique du fromage Anglais la-bas que t’a fait partager ton histoire de la vie ‘haute cuisine’, non? je sais que la nourriture Anglais c’est un inspiration… les frites me manquent, il fallait faire quelque chose…
Mais en fin, c’est un reconfort savoir que mentre je suis ici a Londres, en se lavant les cheveux avec de l’eau froide et un saucier dans l’evier, il y a quelq’un qui, entre Paris et Maroc (un choix difficile ca), mange deux fois le foie gras et une tarte au citron. Au moins dans le monde tous les choses tiennent en equilibre…

Inventory of my high tech night
I spend four or five hours tonight to try to send some megabytes of a french journalist talking about the french Prime Minister here in Rabat.
I have a brand new computer, very Though according to what is written on top of it , i have also one special antenna IMMARSAT, the skipper have on their boat to feed pictures for Horn’s Cap….but here , in the Hilton, five star hotel, here in the Morroco’s Capital….nothing is working.I should have taken a flight back to Paris to put on air the pictures I shoot this afternoon……
Last but not least, we Had an excellent diner with a kind of a tomatoes’puree with some orange’s flower inside, and a delicious orange’s salad with cinnamon…
