Exciting news

May 5th, 2008 by SR (Coimbra, Portugal) · 10 Comments

Dear friends,

I’d like to share these amazing news with you: I’m one of the winners of the Young European Journalist Award (for Portugal). All in all, 31 young journalists (ages between 17 and 35) from 31 european countries won this prize that consists in a trip through the Western Balkans: Belgrade, Zagreb and Ljubljana.

My piece was about the 20 years of the Erasmus program and featured the love story between Rosa Correa and Asmud Prytz, i.e., Spanish girl meets norwegian boy during Erasmus, in Siena. I guess the jury has a thing for love stories… :)
