For fourth consequent day thousands cries of despair went in vain after cyclone Nargis ravaged Myanmar. A nightmare without end for tens of thousands of people left homeless, as Myanmar junta does not allow the flow of international aid. Humanitarian organizations argue that the delay in the distribution of emergency aid can be fatal. Junta’s inability to warn its citizens against cyclone Nargis has caused international outcry. In reality Burma ’s gates remain closed, while yesterday the military regime deported a BBC journalist. Today, the first helicopters loaded with emergency aid from Thailand reached Myanmar. It is though simply a drop in the ocean. The death toll tops 22.500. According to estimates, 40% of victims are children.
For those alive, the martyrdom of survival is extended indefinitely. Disease, hunger and thirst are the new threats the people of Myanmar now face. But Myanmar’s junta…lingers despairingly. With thousands more missing, many fear that the worst is yet to come.

How can we tolerate a situation like this? How come some Khaki’s people choose who can live or not ? No one can interfere, is that fair ?
