She is not Denise Pipitone

Dna tests showed that the 30 year old Albanian woman was after all the mother of the 8 year old child in Kos.

On 24th of August, one little girl approached an Italian woman who was on holidays in the Aegean island of Kos.

The girl, who spoke Italian, tried to sell her a bracelet. When the Italian woman returned to her country, she remembered the photograph of Denise Pipitone, a 4 year-old girl who disappeared 4 years ago from Sicily.

According to her testimony, the two girls appeared to be the same person. The next step was to inform the Italian and Greek Police.

Early in the morning of 10th  September, police officers located the girl in Kos. She was accompanied by a Roma, of Albanian origin, who claimed to be her mother.
