Tellement emue par les photos, les petits morceaux, les impressions changeants de L’Israel et des Palestinian Territories. Et le mur. Je suis restée dix jours au Jerusalem, Ramallah et Bethlehem au 2004 et le mur commençait s’aggrandir tres vite, tellement grand et imposant, construit au grand jour. Gris et dur pour couper les champs en deux, pour entourer la vie des villes. Je n’ai pu pas croire qu’une telle chose arrivait à mon époque. Encore.

These photos and the small snatches of thoughts are wonderful, they’re beautiful and poignant but loud and clear. In my kitchen I have two prints by a British artist who was working in Jerusalem when I visited. One is called ‘Settlement’. It’s a brilliant interpretation of a sight like Dos au Mur/4.
