Lebanon is still stuck in an endless summer

January 18th, 2010 by LM (Beirut, Lebanon) · No Comments

Beirut and Lebanon are still stuck in an endless summer. Last monday, Beirutis were on the Corniche, walking, fishing, swimming and sun bathing. An incredible weather for January, while ski lovers are still impatiently waiting for the snow to fall on the mountain tops. Here are the pictures I took last Sunday…

Beirutis and Lebanese want their winter back. On mountain tops, there isn’t enough snow for skiing, and ski stations as well as all the shops who live from the snow season have already lost a lot of money. A women on TV even said yesterday that her losses were estimated at 120% !
