En Novembre 2007 à Alexandrie en Egypte,une communauté de bloggeuses a été créée par des femmes qui n’avaient a priori rien d’autre en commun que le simple fait d’être une femme. Ces 20 femmes issues de 10 pays différents ont toutefois réussi à dépasser les différences culturelles pour faire de NewsLab un outil d’échange et d’information qui nous a permis à toutes de nous ouvrir sur 10 différents pays et à prendre conscience de similitudes dont nous ignorions l’existence.

In November 2007, in Alexandria Egypt, a blogger’s community was born. This community was formed by a group of 20 women from 10 different country who first only had in common the simple fact of being a woman. But NewsLab survived the test of time and succeeded in become a tool to relay information but also to express ourselves. NewsLab became a window opened on these 10 countries and allowed us to discover matching points between us that we didn’t suspect.
